ENERGOTEK LLC designs and manufactures dryers for plastics:
• dryer for polyethylene terephthalate PET, PET;
• dryer for polyethylene HDPE, HDPE, HDPE, LDPE;
• dryer for PVC polyvinyl chloride;
• dryer for PP polypropylene;
• dryer for PS polystyrene;
• dryer for any other plastics;
• dryer for secondary granules of plastics;
Our company has the ability to design and produce any drying unit with a capacity in the range from 100 kg per hour to 5 tons per hour according to the customer’s specifications. If higher productivity is needed, our company is ready to offer modular complexes for drying plastics with a capacity of 10 tons per hour to 40 tons per hour.
The material of the body and parts of the drying unit is stainless steel or ordinary, low-carbon steel, at the request of the customer. Depending on the type of plastics, their properties and humidity, various drying units are used for drying. The most common drying units in the chemical industry and in particular the production of plastics, is a fluidized bed dryer. You can learn more about it in the section - fluidized bed dryer. Also, a dryer for plastic drum type has gained wide popularity. Also, in some cases, our company can offer aerodynamic dryers for plastics and belt dryers.

The drying unit for drying plastics must be aggregated with a heat generator operating either on gaseous fuel (natural gas, propane-butane mixture), or on liquid (diesel fuel, fuel oil, various synthetic boiler / furnace fuels, coal water), or solid (wood-burning) fire chambers, coal fire chambers, multi-fuel (working both on pellets, briquettes from wood raw materials, agricultural raw materials, and on wood chips, firewood, brown coal, anthracites, coal grades D and G), coal-dust injection units).
It is also possible to make a heat generator on electricity. However, electricity is the most expensive form of energy. It is justified when either small production volumes of 50-100 kg per hour or a very high price of plastic.
The easiest to maintain and most technologically advanced are natural gas heat generators. They can be fully automated, do not require constant monitoring. The only drawback is the cost of natural gas in Ukraine. The cost of drying is 1.5-3 times higher than when working on solid fuels or liquid (synthetic furnace fuels, products of tire pyrolysis, oils). The most significant savings can be achieved by using solid fuel heat generators.Among them, the best price / cost ratio * manufacturability has a pulverized coal heat generator. And the most economical will be a heat generator working on briquettes from sunflower husk and also on brown coal (pieces 20-100mm).
However, they have significant disadvantages. So, for example, all solid fuel heat generators require a stoker for timely fuel supply and ash removal. When using a heat generator on wood, it is necessary to constantly monitor the moisture of the incoming firewood, since otherwise it will be impossible to achieve the necessary heat output for the drying process. A permanent warehouse for firewood with a weekly supply is also needed if you do not have a number of permanent sources of firewood and a firewood preparation area (unloading, sawing, sorting). For example, for a heat generator with a capacity of 1-1.5 MW, the required amount of firewood is 25-37 cubic meters. per day, which is equivalent to 1 truck. Thus, it turns out that depending on the wishes and needs of the customer, the type of heat generator used is not always obvious. Sometimes it is more advisable to put a heat generator running on diesel fuel or on natural gas and not have unnecessary trouble.
Also, along with a heat generator, for the operation of the drying unit, a smoke exhaust is required, which ensures the suction of the necessary air for combustion or heating, its passage through the drying unit, a cyclone and the evacuation of moisture evaporated from plastic. For each capacity in tons per hour, taking into account humidity at the inlet and outlet of the drying unit, the properties of plastics, porosity, etc., a smoke exhauster with the necessary parameters is specially calculated, designed and manufactured.
The third necessary element for the proper conduct of the drying process of plastics is the presence of a dust precipitating cyclone. Plastics are an expensive and at the same time often dangerous product and therefore require collection systems. The parameters of the cyclone depend on the performance of the drying unit, the amount of moisture removed from the material, such as a heat generator. Therefore, in each case, depending on the configuration, we select cyclones individually.
When purchasing equipment in our company, we provide all the necessary documents - data sheet, operation manual, installation and aggregation schemes with the supply and unloading of material. We also provide any feasible advisory assistance in the preparation of project documentation for coordination with government agencies.
Warranty - 24 months. At the end of the warranty - after-sales service.
The price is only for the drying unit of the minimum configuration and minimum productivity.The price does not include heat generator, cyclone, smoke exhaust.
